"QLD Police Road Safety Initiative"

Writer: Kylie PayneKylie Payne

We are so excited to share the latest road safety project we have been working on with Queensland Police.

We have completely funded 22,000 copies of these road safety activity booklets aimed at primary school aged children. These booklets aim to start the conversation with our little ones around road safety, and what it means to be safe as a pedestrian, riding a bike, and being a passenger in the car. 22,000 copies of this amazing resource will be going out to every primary school in Redcliffe, Northlakes, Mango Hill, Petrie, Dakabin, Narangba, Burpengary, Dayboro, Deception Bay, Morayfield, Caboolture, Bribie Island, Elimbah, as well as Wamuran through to Moore!

Initiatives such as this one align with our values and mission to educate young people on road safety. More will be coming in this space aimed at high schoolers as well as beach driving and we can’t wait to share it with you! You can check out more about our mission on our website.

There will also be a digital copy available on our website to print out for your little ones if you aren’t in these areas 👏

The Harrison Payne Initiative is a Not-for-profit charity that aims to create change around Beach Safety, 4WD safety, and road safety whilst providing support for families who have experienced similar tragedies. We want to share our story at schools, beaches, online and in other spaces throughout the community to educate young people on the dangers of driving on the beach.  We want to share Harry’s story in a way that honours him and highlights the importance of driving responsibly and knowing when to speak up as a passenger.

We are fully registered with the Australian Government under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
