Our 5th ‘Deadlift for Harry’ 🏋️
WOW our best yet with amazing support and record attendance from afar and from our local community. Harry’s passion for deadlift’s was incredible and this event is about honoring Harry and ensuring his legacy lives on through us all. A massive thank you to all of our key partners in particular World Gym Burpengary, Harry loved the GYM and without Justin’s support and vision to help us grow Harry’s event none of this would be possible. Importantly we raised a record amount over $18,000 and this was helped by the amazing donation of $10,000 from ARB Australia who are an incredible partner. To the whole ARB Team thank you. Our raffle was massive! Over $7000 in prizes, a massive thank you to Mitch and the GWM Tank4wdclubqld who supported the raffle and ensured the prizes were mega. To all the lifters! All 35 of you, this is a record thank you for supporting Harry’s event, your passion and commitment is terrific. To all of our other supporters! Harrison ‘Harry’ Payne had been 18 years & 22 days old when his life was tragically taken in a 4WD crash on Woorim Beach, Bribie Island on May 30th, 2021. Harry’s death could have been prevented, and we want to do everything in our power to prevent this happening to another young person or family.
