About the event

Our “Deadlift Day for Harry”- June 3rd 2023- Have you started training? 💪😁 As we continue to honour Harry and raise much needed funds for road and beach trauma victims. Harry loved to train deadlifts at his second home “World Gym Burpengary” and achieved 220KG at 17 years of age. This will be a fantastic community event with loads of community market stall sellers, sausage sizzle (cooked by The Harrison Payne Initiative volunteers), face painting, and lots more! There will be two events this year with deadlift as well as bench press. Everyone is invited to compete, you don't need to be able to lift heavy, its all about the participation! We will also have one more pre registration day on May 13th from 8am-12pm! Pop on down to World Gym Burpengary to register for the day or come see us on May 13th!

The Harrison Payne Initiative is a Not-for-profit charity that aims to create change around Beach Safety, 4WD safety, and road safety whilst providing support for families who have experienced similar tragedies. We want to share our story at schools, beaches, online and in other spaces throughout the community to educate young people on the dangers of driving on the beach.  We want to share Harry’s story in a way that honours him and highlights the importance of driving responsibly and knowing when to speak up as a passenger.

We are fully registered with the Australian Government under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
